This device operates in a 900 MHz frequency range, solving the problem of interference due to frequency saturation such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular signals, other intercoms, and frequency ranges of 1.7-2.5 GHz. It also offers excellent performance in environments where intercoms fail, including better penetration through walls and at long distances in the rain, making it ideal for construction environments, road crews, mining, and manufacturing. The maximum line-of-sight range is 4,000 feet (1,219 meters) and the typical range with certain obstacles is 1,600-2,000 feet (487-609 meters) with support for up to 8 simultaneous speakers and an unlimited number of synchronized group or multi-group listeners. Dimensions without antenna are 5.5 x 3.3 x 1.5 inches (14.1 x 9.2 x 3.5 cm) without antenna. The antenna is 3.5 inches (8.2 cm) long with an ABS blended polycarbonate housing and protective rubber boot, and has a spread spectrum of 902-928 MHz.
