SAFE Linear Heat Detection (LHD)

It uses advanced polymers and a newly developed alloy to provide exceptional detection, durability, and design flexibility. At the core of SafeCable is a twisted pair of extremely low-resistance tri-metallic conductors, which are sheathed with new, advanced thermal polymers. These polymers are chemically engineered to decompose at specific, fixed temperatures, allowing the twisted conductors to make contact and initiate an alarm.

Floating roof tanks

These tanks are constructed with a cylindrical steel shell with an open or closed top and a pontoon-type floating roof. The roof cover floats in the liquid to form a seal and reduce the amount of vapor in the tank. Temperature detection is essential in this type of liquid storage, where spot detection is not possible. The heat-sensing cable is the ideal solution, ensuring uniform, rapid, and reliable detection. Each centimeter of the cable acts as a spot temperature detector.
