Flair Detection Technology

Flair is the revolutionary new detection camera at the core of the VESDA-E VEP, providing improved detection, fewer nuisance false alarms, greater stability, longer lifespan, and particle characterization. Direct imaging of sampled particles using a CMOS imager combined with multiple photodiodes enables a wealth of data that can be used to gain actionable insights into observed particles through analysis.

VESDAnet™

VESDA devices communicate over VESDAnet, which provides a robust, two-way communication network that enables continuous redundant operation even during single-point wiring failures. VESDAnet enables primary reporting, centralized configuration, control, maintenance, and monitoring.

Ethernet and WiFi connectivity

VESDA-E detectors offer Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity as standard features. The detector can be added to a corporate network, allowing Wi-Fi-enabled tablet devices and PCs installed with Xtralis configuration and monitoring software to connect wirelessly to the detector over the network.
