The IDP-PTIR-W multi-criteria detector incorporates thermal and photoelectric technologies that interact to maximize detection. An integrated microprocessor with advanced software focuses on rejecting false alarms. The IDP-PTIR-W is for use with Farenhyt series fire alarm control panels.

Using advanced software, the IDP-PTIR-W continuously samples the ambient air and adjusts its detection parameters and alarm threshold. It does this automatically, without user intervention.
