The SIP-404 is part of the Redwall Series of long-range PIR motion sensors designed for use in medium to large outdoor areas. The SIP-404 is a hardwired model that provides a detection range of 40 x 4 meters (L x W), making it ideal for protecting long and narrow areas. The SIP-404 features an intelligent detection system that uses ambient data, such as temperature and lighting conditions, to automatically adjust sensitivity. Easy-to-install mechanisms allow for precise tuning of the detection area during setup, providing more reliable operation.

REDWALL SIP motion sensors are designed to connect to PTZ or fixed cameras and trigger the CCTV system when an intrusion occurs. The SIP-3020/4010/404 has two independent detection zones (far and near zones) with independent sensitivity selection that can trigger preset cameras and provide the best view of the scene to local security personnel or remote monitoring stations. REDWALL SIP motion sensors are designed for use in demanding outdoor environments. Sensitivity can be automatically adjusted to ambient lighting and temperature, and the main unit is IP65 rated. SIP long-range intrusion detectors are vandal-resistant with a polycarbonate housing and anti-masking feature, and feature an accelerometer to detect whether the sensor's position has been changed.
