The VESDA VLF-250 is an early warning smoke detector designed to protect large and small areas (less than 250 m2).
The detector works by continuously sampling ambient air through holes in a network of pipes. The air is filtered and passes through a detection chamber, where laser light scattering technology detects the presence of very small amounts of smoke.
