Reliable and flexible vehicle detection

The OVS-02GT sensor for presence detection and activation of automatic gates, barriers, and industrial doors offers excellent short- and long-range detection up to 8 meters with wide-angle adjustment from 90° to 95°. It detects stationary or moving vehicles up to 35 km/h, made of all materials, and features an indicator light for visible detection. It is suitable for both simple gate activation applications and state-of-the-art parking systems. It is available in black (standard) and gray (optional).

Easy installation on the floor

The above-ground installation makes it a less intrusive solution for a variety of locations where a ground loop sensor isn't possible or isn't permitted. After mounting the sensor 50 cm above the ground—on a barrier, wall, or pole—configuration can be easily performed from a mobile device or tablet using a dedicated app called 'Virtual Loop.'

Excellent performance

The OVS-02GT sensor is unaffected by ground motion and can filter out pedestrian traffic to prevent unnecessary activations. Microwave technology, a built-in heater, and IP66 and NEMA4 ratings ensure stable detection in climates exposed to cold, humidity, and dust.

Vehicle protection

Thanks to presence detection, the sensor offers safety measures such as collision protection, which can prevent a barrier from hitting a car by closing before the vehicle passes through it.

The OVS-02GT vehicle sensor is an ideal solution for many locations and can reliably replace the use of an inductive loop in the following situations:

• Where excavation is not possible:
  Resin pavements, cobblestone and brick pavements.
• Where civil engineering works are not possible:
  Public areas, post-tensioned concrete, steel grating roof drains.
• Locations prone to induction loop failures:
  Damaged surfaces, surfaces prone to flooding, damage caused by ice or snow.

Applications

Automatic swing and sliding doors, barriers, and high-speed folding gates can be easily activated with the OVS-02GT sensor. It provides surface-mounted detection technology for commercial facilities, parking garages, secure parking, and residential applications. Thanks to its dual output, it can also be used to simultaneously activate a ticket vending machine or a signal light.
