The 4297 V-Plex Loop Isolator/Extender Module offers a dual advantage for commercial applications. As an isolator module, the 4297 allows installers to select groups of zones on a loop. For example, fire and burglary zones can be grouped separately, essentially isolating one from the other. This isolation feature prevents a fault in one loop that could compromise the integrity of any other loop. The 4297 module also gives installers the flexibility to expand the wiring capacity of the entire system, from approximately 1,219.2 meters to 2,438.4 meters, without the additional expense of additional modules or control panels.
