The SYSLM8 magnetic loop, together with the 10MATRIXD1224 Metal Mass Detector, is a safety device that prevents the barrier arm from lowering if a vehicle is located underneath it. It is also responsible for sending the closing order to the barrier once the vehicle has passed.
