Carbon Monoxide Detection and Control
The MACURCO CM6 is a low voltage detector, controller and transducer, integrating dual relays, selectable 4-20 mA output, buzzer and digital display, is an electronic detection system used to measure CO concentration and provide feedback and automatic fan/exhaust control to help reduce CO concentrations in parking garages, maintenance areas and other commercial applications.

For use in closed parking lots:

These units typically cover about 5,000 square feet (465 square meters) in a covered parking garage or similar application. The coverage radius is 40 feet (12.2 m) per detector. - Mounted on a column, the detector covers 5,000 square feet. - Mounted on a wall, the detector covers 2,500 square feet. - Do not mount in a corner. - Do not mount where the normal ambient temperature is below 0°F or above 125°F (-18°C to 52°C). - Additional detectors may be necessary near any area where people are working or where the air is stagnant. The unit is mounted about 5 feet (1.5 m) above the floor (in the normal breathing zone), in a central area where air movement is normally good.
