Industrial PLANET, Toughened for the Environment , IGS-5225-4UP1T2S, is equipped with a rugged IP30 metal enclosure for stable operation in heavy-duty and demanding industrial environments. Therefore, the IGS-5225-4UP1T2S provides a high level of immunity against electromagnetic interference and severe electrical surges typically found on plant floors or in sidewalk traffic control cabinets. Being able to operate over a wide temperature range of -40 to 75 degrees C, the IGS-5225-4UP1T2S can be placed in almost any harsh environment. The IGS-5225-4UP1T2S also allows DIN rail or wall mounting for efficient use of cabinet space.
802.3bt Ready: 60 watts of power over a 4-pair UTP system
The IGS-5225-4UP1T2S Ultra PoE solution adopts the IEEE 802.3at/af PoE standard. Instead of delivering power over 2-pair twisted UTP, either the end span (pins 1, 2, 3, and 6) or the mid span (pins 4, 5, 7, and 8), it provides the ability to generate up to 60 watts of power by using the four pairs of standard Cat5e/6 Ethernet cabling. In the new 4-pair system, the IGS-5225-4UP1T2S can deliver up to 60 watts of power per port to each remote PoE-compliant device (PD). It possesses twice the power capacity of conventional 802.3at PoE and is an ideal solution to meet the growing demand for higher power consumption network PDs, such as:

Advanced PoE power output mode management
To meet the demand of multiple powered devices consuming stable PoE power, the IGS-5225-4UP1T2S provides three different PoE power output modes for selection.

Intelligent Alive Check for powered devices
The IGS-5225-4UP1T2S PoE Switch can be configured to monitor the status of the connected PD in real time via ping. Once the PD stops working and responds, the IGS-5225-4UP1T2S will recycle the PoE port's power and bring the PD back online. This also greatly improves the reliability of the PoE port's ability to restore PD power, thereby reducing the administrator's management burden.
PoE program for energy saving
Following the trend of global energy saving and contributing to environmental protection on Earth, the IGS-5225-4UP1T2S can effectively control the power supply, in addition to its ability to provide high wattage. The built-in " PoE Scheduling " function helps you enable or disable PoE power feeding for each PoE port during specific time intervals and is a powerful feature to help SMB or enterprise save energy and money.

Scheduled energy recycling
The IGS-5225-4UP1T2S allows each connected PoE IP camera or PoE wireless access point to reboot at a specific time each week. This will reduce the possibility of the IP camera or AP crashing due to a buffer overflow.
Redundant ring, fast recovery for critical network applications
The IGS-5225-4UP1T2S supports redundant ring technology and features strong and fast self-healing capability to prevent external interruptions and intrusions. It incorporates advanced ITU-T G.8032 ERPS ( Ethernet Ring Protection Switching ) technology, Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1s MSTP), and redundant power entry system into the customer’s industrial automation network to improve system reliability and uptime in harsh factory environments. In a given simple ring network, the data link recovery time can be as fast as 20ms.
