PLANET’s newly launched Renewable Energy 802.3at PoE Managed Ethernet Switch, BSP-360, is designed to deploy a surveillance or wireless network and remotely monitor and manage IP-based devices. Based on its green technology, the BSP-360 can be charged by inexhaustible natural power sources such as solar, wind, and hydropower to economically conserve power for remote IP cameras and wireless APs, especially used for expansive applications such as dams, forests, deserts, national parks, nature/animal protection areas, and highways.

Zero-carbon and stable power supply
The BSP-360 utilizes solar power supply and can be paired with a common nickel-cadmium or lead-acid battery to form a standalone solar power supply for outdoor networking. The BSP-360 offers zero-carbon, uninterruptible PoE power supply for outdoor wireless link systems and IP surveillance applications without the need for any additional cabling or devices. The BSP-360 can simultaneously power and charge the battery during the day to allow continued operation at night.

Applications

Long-range wireless connection for outdoor use
With four 802.3af/802.3at PoE interfaces, the BSP-360 allows you to freely install the PoE access point outdoors. When working with a wireless transmission pair, the BSP-360 Renewable Energy PoE Switch can be efficiently managed from the remote monitoring center. This allows for more flexible wireless LAN deployment and seamless power supply from multiple locations.

Allows network extension via fiber optics using Media Converter
With the 24VDC interface of the BSP-360 you can supply power to another device, such as the Planet IGT-905A, which is a fiber media converter, where high speed and stable data transmission can be made to a remote central network .

With the 24VDC interface of the BSP-360 allows you to supply power through a Passive Power Injector to power devices, which are powered by passive PoE through the Optional Accessories, which is a fiber media converter, where wireless data transmission can be made to a remote central network .
