The MC220L is a media converter designed to convert 1000BASE-SX/LX/LH fiber cable to 1000Base-T copper cable or vice versa. The MC220L is designed to comply with IEEE802.3ab, 1000Base-T, IEEE802.3z, and 1000Base-SX/LX/LH standards. It can be used with both multimode and single-mode fiber cable using an SC/LC type connector. It operates at 850nm for both data transmission and reception when using multimode fiber and at 1310nm for both data transmission and reception when using single-mode fiber.
