8-Port 10/100/1000 Mbps PoE Unmanaged Switch with 802.3af/at PoE

Flexible, expandable and centralized power distribution
PLANET GSD-1008HP provides eight 10/100/1000T ports with 30-watt 802.3at PoE+, a total PoE budget of 120 watts, and two additional ports to meet the demand of PoE power sufficient for IP HD surveillance system and Wi-Fi in a small-scale but high-performance network. With the same compact and desktop-sized metal housing, it makes the unit’s placement convenient and provides quick and easy deployment of power-fed PoE PDs.

Ethernet data transmission distance extension
The built-in solid-state DIP switch provides 'Standard', 'VLAN', and 'Extend' operating modes. The GSD-1008HP operates as a normal IEEE 802.3at PoE+ switch in 'Standard' operating mode.
The 'VLAN' operation mode features a port-based VLAN function that helps prevent IP camera multicast or broadcast storm from influencing each other.
In Extender mode, the GSD-1008HP operates at 10Mbps full-duplex operation per port but supports 30W PoE power output at a distance of up to 250 meters, surpassing the 100m limit for UTP Ethernet cables. With this new feature, the GSD-1008HP provides an additional solution for 802.3at PoE+ distance extension, thus saving the cost of Ethernet cable installation. Additionally, its VLAN isolation feature isolates each port to prevent broadcast storms and defend against DHCP spoofing in Extender mode.

Two Gigabit uplink ports
The GSD-1008HP comes with two uplink ports with 1000Mbps transfer speed to ensure high-speed video and data transmission, ensuring reliable connection between the surveillance system and the external network where all eight PoE+ ports can be used to their full potential.
