Interface card for networking Silent Knight 6000 Series and Farenhyt Black Series panels

The SK-NIC network interface card is used with Honeywell's Silent Knight 6000 and Farenhyt Black Series fire alarm panels. It allows panels to be networked together for various functions. The SK-NIC comes with connections for unshielded twisted pair copper cable. Fiber optic modules can be added as an option for networking.

These modules include the SK-FML multimode fiber optic module and the SK-FSL single-mode fiber optic module. Using the SK-NIC with the SK-FML and SK-FSL enables annunciation communication path between up to 17 panels for the Silent Knight 6000 series, but not a point-to-point network. A complete point-to-point network for up to 32 panels is also possible for the Farenhyt Black series. A designated panel is configured as a communicator for all connected panels, providing a single convenient point of communication for the Silent Knight 6000 series, and multiple panels can communicate for the Farenhyt Black series. All networking can also be done via fiber optics.
