hEX S is a five-port Gigabit Ethernet router for locations where wireless connectivity isn't required. Compared to the hEX, the hEX S also features an SFP port and PoE output on the last port.

It's affordable, small, and easy to use, yet comes with a powerful 880 MHz dual-core CPU and 256 MB of RAM, capable of all the advanced configurations supported by RouterOS. The device has a USB 2.0 output, PoE for Ethernet port #5, and a 1.25 Gbit/s SFP.

IPsec hardware encryption (~470 Mbps) and Dude server suite are supported, microSD slot provides improved r/w speed for file storage and Dude.
