The RPS510 is used as a redundant power supply for TP-LINK RPS-enabled L2 and L3 Managed Switches. When these switches are operational, the RPS510 provides a fast failover feature that ensures connected switches can operate uninterruptedly in the event of an internal power supply failure. Without any configuration, the RPS510 can be easily installed as a standalone power supply unit or placed inside the RPS2 chassis, which is designed to accommodate two RPS510s for rackmount installation.
