The PLC optical splitter is an important component in an FTTx network. It is based on planar wave technology, providing a cost-effective and space-saving solution for the network. The PLC splitter uniformly divides an optical signal from one or two input ports to multiple output ports. It can operate in wavelengths from 1260 to 1650 nm. Its compact size allows for installation in underground, aerial, pole, pedestal, and rack systems.

The FiberHome PLC Splitter adopts patented low-loss technology. It features low insertion loss, low polarization loss, and high port uniformity. All products fully comply with Telcordia GR-1209 and GR-1221 standards, and all materials used comply with the RoHS directive. PLC Splitters are available in a wide variety of configurations, including pre-terminated boxes for harsh environments, compact square enclosures, or flat tubes.
