What is the TwistPort ™ adapter?
The TwistPort adapter adapts third-party radios to the RF Elements® proprietary TwistPort™ waveguide connector. Radio integration is simple and requires no tools. Making third-party radios TwistPort™ compatible allows the radio to be used with any TwistPort™ antenna ever created, enabling superior performance, noise immunity, and network scalability.
Made for RB922x

Aluminum enclosure
TPA-RBC is made of cast aluminum and provides excellent protection required in outdoor environments.
More real estate
TPA-RBC offers more real estate within the enclosure. It can be used for any additional equipment when building your own radio rig, for example, for radio cards with higher heat sinks.
More flexibility
The TPA-RBC offers space for additional external connectors of your choice. The aluminum wall allows for custom drilling or milling to meet various requirements.
Symmetrical Sector Antennas
Horn sector antennas are scalar horn antennas with a symmetrical beam pattern and a TwistPort ™ (TP) connector. Field-deployed since 2014, they address the key weaknesses of mainstream sector antenna technologies, providing excellent noise rejection, network scalability, and increased throughput.
Proven in tens of thousands of installations worldwide, TP Symmetrical Horn Antennas RF elements are the new standard for fast, sustainable wireless connectivity.
Single beam performance
Symmetrical Horn TP antennas have a unique shape and beam characteristics. The beam section is circular: the azimuth and elevation radiation angles are identical.
Without side lobes
Symmetrical Horn TP antennas have no side lobes; they literally concentrate energy into a single main signal beam. This behavior saves the most important resource in wireless technology: spectrum. Thanks to these unique radiation properties, the radio collects and propagates significantly less noise compared to current main sector (panel) antennas.
The noise problem is directly related to the antenna's sidelobes, a fundamentally unavoidable feature of most competing products. Symmetrical horn-shaped antennas behave differently, being essentially "deaf" outside their main beam.
Broadband performance
The beam pattern does not vary with frequency or antenna gain; it is balanced over a very wide frequency range. These characteristics make Symmetrical Horns TP antennas excellent sector antennas.
Excellent gain across the spectrum
Coverage without null points
Mainstream antennas have a very wide radiation pattern in azimuthal cross-section but a very flat pattern in elevation cross-section. If an AP is too high, clients that are too close will suffer from a weak AP signal.
Allows co-location of channels
Symmetrical Horn TP antennas feature naturally attenuated sidelobes and extremely low background radiation. Symmetrical Horn TP antennas are ideal for high-density cluster sector installations with high co-location requirements. The wide selection of beam angles enables a wide range of deployment scenarios, covering long-distance sectors.
Innovative scalability
Symmetrical Horn TP antennas offer broad scalability for wireless systems. Their unique beamforming performance and excellent colocation characteristics enable higher sector density than traditional sector technology.
Symmetrical Horn TP antennas come with precise radiation angles, ranging from 30 to 90 degrees: a wide range of models suitable for any situation.
