The wAP 60Gx3 AP is a new access point model for the 60 GHz spectrum. Compared to the regular wAP 60G AP, this new model has a completely new antenna array, supporting a much wider coverage angle and is specifically optimized for multipoint operation.

The 96 antenna elements operate with beamforming technology to provide connectivity for up to eight 60 GHz client devices simultaneously, within a 180-degree field of view. Create a cost-effective point-to-multipoint configuration on the clean 60 GHz wireless spectrum, at a fraction of the cost.

Two 60Gx3 wAP AP units can also be used in point-to-point configurations.

1. All tests are done with Xena Networks specialized test equipment (XenaBay), and done according to RFC2544 (Xena2544)
2. Max throughput is determined with 30+ second attempts with 0.1% packet loss tolerance in 64, 512, 1518 byte packet sizes
3. Test results show device maximum performance, and are reached using mentioned hardware and software configuration, different configurations most likely will result in lower results
