The vent provides natural or forced access to ambient air to prevent excessive heating of the cabinet interior and the equipment inside.

It is recommended for integrations that have battery housing and other equipment that can generate a temperature increase that exceeds the equipment's operating range.

Note: The use of vents reduces the degree of protection against the ingress of dust and water.

Recommended use:

Generally, one vent is used to exhaust hot air, installed at the top of the cabinet, and a second one is used to inlet fresh air, located at the bottom.

One or two fans can be added to each vent to improve the heat exchange process.

It is recommended to use in ABS plastic or PBT/PC blend cabinets but can also be used in metal cabinets.
