The VXI series is our best-selling outdoor intrusion detection sensor range. It provides highly reliable entry detection with a range of up to 12 meters for residential and commercial applications. The sensor, which must be mounted at a height of 1.2 meters, includes two PIRs that provide a dual-layer detection area. The sensor will only activate when both layers are activated. VXI sensors are pet-tolerant and feature digital analysis to prevent false alarms. The VXI-DAM is the dual-technology model (PIR and microwave) that also features anti-masking technology.

Dual-layer digital detection: Both the upper and lower detection zones must be crossed to generate an alarm. Detections are analyzed independently to filter out misleading coincidences. This technology virtually eliminates detections of smaller animals on the premises.

Compatible with all brands of alarm panels Honeywell, DSC, Pima, Crow, Paradox, etc.

SMDA (Super Multidimensional Analysis) Logic: All VXI models are equipped with an enhanced digital signal recognition logic called SMDA. SMDA improves immunity to various noise factors, such as weather changes and vegetation. VXIs expand the applicable ranges and reliability beyond what the VX-402 was capable of.

Anti-masking: Active IR anti-masking provides an increased level of safety when detecting objects or other materials/substances on the lens surface.

Dual PIR and Microwave: The integrated algorithm for PIR and microwave detection provides stable detection and performance. In locations with strong sunlight interference or in direct headlights from vehicle traffic, the VXI-DAM/RDAM offers an even greater reduction in false alarms.
