The FTN series offers short-range curtain detection that can be adjusted with interchangeable lenses up to 2 m or up to 5 m , making it ideal for protecting front doors, windows, and balconies. The FTN-R is a battery-operated model for wireless security. The model includes a removable back box that can accommodate most commercially available wireless transmitters. (Transmitter not included)
The FTN-R also includes SMDA (Super Multidimensional Analysis) logic for ultimate sensitivity optimization. Every movement is analyzed before triggering an alarm, reducing false alarms. As a result, the response to the environment is 24 times more effective.
The FTN-R is a great addition to your residential home security systems or your commercial security systems.

| The FTN outdoor PIR sensors are highly compact and sensitive PIR curtain detectors . The slim body easily fits into any window or door opening, and its integrated bracket rotates 190 degrees . The lens can also be switched between 2 m or 5 m detection to suit the area to be protected. | The FTN series generates passive infrared barriers at the top and bottom: a presence must be detected at both barriers to trigger the alarm. Cats, dogs, foxes, and birds will therefore not be able to trigger the system. The FTN series digitally analyzes the waveforms of detected objects and will ignore reflections caused by sunlight, air conditioning units, and moving vegetation. As a result, the FTN series is the most stable outdoor PIR sensor. | The FTN-R requires no wiring. The low-current sensor is powered by batteries (not included) that can last up to three years and has a large enough back box to fit most commercially available wireless transmitters.
