DESCRIPTION

Made of aluminum.

Provides protection against direct lightning strikes on surfaces or structures.

It provides a safe point of impact, since the toroidal exciter coil and the equipotential ring create an ionization effect (corona) which will offer an attractive point for the impact of the atmospheric discharge.

This prong connected to the down conductor will provide a safe path to the SEPTE grounding electrode to drain the lightning current.

It has an approximate coverage radius of 72 degrees.

Complies with NMXJ-549-ANCE-2005 and NOM-001-SEDE-2012 standards.
