Our protective armors are designed to enhance antenna performance by increasing the reflector gain, in the main lobe direction, by 1 to 2 dB, and reducing interference in the side and rear lobes, thereby improving the front-to-back ratio.

The flat radome is made of dielectric material with low permittivity, designed to reduce as much as possible the losses due to the deflection of the main beam of the antenna, and as a consequence of the energy absorbed and reflected by the radome material itself.

The truss-radome assembly helps reduce wind loads on the antenna and tower structure; it also prevents ice buildup on the feeder and protects against adverse environmental effects caused by rain and hail.
