L3 Managed Industrial Switch with 8 Gigabit PoE ports 802.3bt + 2 SFP ports, 2 SFP+ ports (360W)

Excellent 802.3bt PoE++ solution for ruggedized environments

Complying with IEEE 802.3bt Power over Ethernet Plus technology, the PLANET IGS-6325-8UP2S2X L3 Industrial Managed PoE++ Switch features eight 10/100/1000BASE-T 802.3bt PoE++ ports with each port powering up to 95 watts , two 10G SFP+ ports , and two 100/1000BASE-X SFP interfaces in a rugged IP30 metal housing for stable operation in demanding industrial environments. It supports rich PoE operation modes including 90-watt 802.3bt Type-4 PoE++ ports , 95-watt PoH (Power over HD-BASE-T) mode, and 4-pair PoE power mode to solve the incompatibility of non-standard 4-pair PoE DP in the field.

Operating in a wide temperature range of -40 to 75 degrees C, the IGS-6325 PoE++ switch series can be placed in almost any harsh environment. The IGS-6325 PoE++ switch series also allows DIN rail or wall mounting for efficient use of cabinet space.

802.3bt PoE++ - 90~95 watts of power over a 4-pair UTP solution

Since the IGS-6325 PoE++ series adopts IEEE 802.bt PoE++ standard and PoH technology, it is capable of generating up to 95 watts of power by using the four pairs of standard Cat5e/6 Ethernet cabling to provide full power and data speed to each remote PoE-compliant Powered Device (PD). It possesses three times the power capacity of conventional 802.3at PoE+ and is an ideal solution to meet the growing demand for higher power consumption network PDs such as:

  • PoE PTZ speed dome cameras
  • Network devices
  • Thin clients
  • AIO (All-in-One) touch PCs, point of sale (POS) and information kiosks
  • Remote digital signage displays
  • PoE Lighting

802.3bt PoE++ and Advanced PoE power output mode management

To meet the demand of various powered devices consuming stable PoE power, the IGS-6325 PoE++ switch series provides five different PoE power output modes for selection.

  • 90W 802.3bt PoE++ power output mode (pins 1, 2, 3, 6 + pins 4, 5, 7, 8)
  • Power output mode 95W UPOE / PoH (pins 1, 2, 3, 6 + pins 4, 5, 7, 8)
  • 30W PoE end-to-end power output mode (pins 1, 2, 3, 6)
  • 30W Mid-Span PoE Power Output Mode (Pins 4, 5, 7, 8)
  • 60W power output mode (pins 1, 2, 3, 6 + pins 4, 5, 7, 8)

Convenient and intelligent ONVIF devices with detection function

PLANET has recently developed an incredible feature: ONVIF support, specifically designed to support IP video surveillance. From the GUI of the IGS-6325 PoE++ switch series, customers can search and display all ONVIF devices via the network application in just one click.

Additionally, customers can upload floor plans to the switch, allowing surveillance devices to be located for easy inspection and planning. Customers can also obtain real-time surveillance information and online/offline status, and also allow PoE cameras to be restarted from the GUI.

Smart live verification for powered devices

The IGS-6325 PoE++ series can be configured to monitor the status of connected PDs in real time using ping. Once the PD stops working and responding, the IGS-6325 PoE++ series will recycle the PoE port's power and bring the PD back online. This also greatly improves reliability, as the PoE port will restore power to the PD, reducing the administrator's management burden.

PoE program for energy saving

Following the global energy-saving trend and contributing to environmental protection, the IGS-6325 PoE++ series can effectively control power supply, in addition to its high-wattage output capability. The built-in ' PoE scheduling ' function helps you enable or disable PoE power supply for each PoE port during specific time intervals, a powerful feature to help SMBs or enterprises save energy and money.

Scheduled energy recycling

The IGS-6325 PoE++ series allows each connected PoE IP camera or PoE wireless access point to reboot at a specific time each week. This will reduce the chance of the IP camera or AP crashing due to a buffer overflow.

Layer 3 routing support

The IGS-6325 series enables administrators to conveniently increase network efficiency by manually configuring Layer 3 IPv4/IPv6 VLAN static routing and automatically configuring IPv4 OSPFv2 (Open Shortest Path First). OSPF is a link-state interior dynamic routing protocol for autonomous systems. The protocol builds a link-state database by exchanging link states between Layer 3 switches, and then uses the Shortest Path First algorithm to generate a route table based on that database.

Redundant ring, fast recovery for critical network applications

The IGS-6325 series supports redundant ring technology and features strong and rapid self-healing capability to prevent external interruptions and intrusions. It incorporates advanced ITU-T G.8032 ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) , Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1s MSTP), and redundant power input system into the customer’s industrial automation network to improve system reliability and uptime in harsh factory environments. In a given simple ring network, the data link recovery time can be as fast as 10 ms.

Cybersecurity network helps minimize security risks

The IGS-6325 series comes with enhanced cybersecurity to defend against cyberthreats and cyberattacks. It supports SSHv2, TLS, and SSL protocols to provide robust protection against advanced threats. Serving as a key point for transmitting data and delivering over 95 watts of PoE output to critical client equipment in an enterprise network, the IGS-6325 series' cybersecurity feature protects switch management and enhances mission-critical network security without additional deployment cost and effort.

Modbus TCP provides flexible network connectivity for factory automation

With Modbus TCP/IP protocol support , the IGS-6325 series can be easily integrated with SCADA systems , HMI systems , and other data acquisition systems in production plants. It allows administrators to remotely monitor industrial Ethernet switch operating information , port information , communication status, and DI and DO status, thus easily achieving better monitoring and maintenance of the entire factory.

1588 Time Protocol for Industrial Computer Networks

The IGS-6325 series is ideal for telecommunications and Carrier Ethernet applications, supporting MEF service delivery and packet-based timing solutions for IEEE 1588 and Synchronous Ethernet.

SMTP/SNMP Trap Event Alert

The IGS-6325 series provides an event alert function to help diagnose abnormal devices based on whether or not there is a network connection interruption or reboot response.

Effective alarm alert for better protection

The IGS-6325 series supports a fault alarm function that can alert users when there is a problem with the switches. With this ideal feature, users won't have to waste time trying to find the problem. It will help save time and human resources.
