Category 6A OSP cable meets Category 6A component standards IEC 61156-5 and ANSI/TIA 568.2-D. The conductors are 23 AWG with foamed polyethylene insulation. It features gel-filled construction to prevent moisture migration in underground and wet applications and a wide temperature range for extreme weather environments. The copper conductors are twisted in pairs, separated by a separator, and covered with a crosstalk barrier and a UV- and abrasion-resistant polyethylene (PE) jacket. The crosstalk barrier should not be grounded. The product should be used in conduit installations only. It should not be used in overhead or direct burial installations.
