Presentation of the new matrix sector
The new Array Sector Series are superior patch array antennas optimized for excellent performance in dense cluster and sector coverage applications.
Best-in-class performance
Get stability across the spectrum RF elements® Array Sector Antennas feature optimized gain performance across the entire useful bandwidth. Thanks to their constant gain, the antennas deliver excellent performance regardless of the channel used. Broadband performance The array sector antennas operate in the 5150–5850 MHz frequency range. The wide 700 MHz operating spectrum covers the U-NII-1 to U-NII-3 bands. |

BackShieldTM for cluster deployments Array Sector Antennas feature integrated BackShieldTM, patented frequency-selective surfaces that attenuate azimuthal sidelobes and back radiation, significantly improving the co-location capability of Array Sector Antennas. Light and compact Array Sector antennas are made of high-quality aluminum making them compact, lightweight, and extremely durable. |
Stable gain across the entire band
The gain of the Sector Array antennas remains very stable over an ultra-wide frequency range of 5150-5850 MHz. VSWR values are excellent across the entire useful spectrum for maximum power delivered from a radio to the antenna.
Optimized for colocation
Array Sector Antennas feature BackShield™, our patented structure that effectively mitigates azimuthal sidelobes and parasitic back radiation. BackShield™ significantly improves sharing capacity in dense cluster deployments.
BackShield
BackShield is our patented frequency-selective surface that effectively attenuates back radiation and sidelobes in the azimuthal plane. BackShield™ is integrated into the antenna structure, so there's no need for aftermarket accessory shields.
Broad platform compatibility
Array Sector Antennas are compatible with all major radios with coaxial connectors (see data sheet for a complete list). Array Sector Antennas also feature a removable cover that protects the SMA connectors, another feature introduced by RF Elements® that has become an industry standard.
New antenna mount
Sector Array antennas feature an innovative mounting system consisting of minimal parts for quick and easy assembly, installation, and alignment. The stainless steel hardware has a black anti-friction surface coating to prevent binding.
Durable construction
The solid extruded aluminum body allows the Sector Array antennas to withstand any weather conditions. We use the highest quality materials: extruded and stamped aluminum, surface-coated stainless steel, UV-resistant ABS plastic, and high-density polyethylene.
Anti-seize coated hardware
Array Sector antennas feature hardware with a black anti-friction surface treatment that utilizes a polymer-based tribological dry coating with submicroscopic lubricant particles that provide effective anti-sticking protection.
Unpacking the 5-20 die sector
