Alarms, monitoring and network health status

The new Hik-ProConnect remote management platform helps us interact with our Network in a much easier and faster way, since for example, when there is a connection or disconnection in any of the ports of a Switch, it will indicate in real time that there was that mishap and shows us that that port is alarmed by a change that occurred, likewise we can clear that alarm once that connection has been reviewed and everything returns to normal .

It is also very helpful for us to monitor the health of our Network and constantly check that our equipment is working smoothly and the data Network is stable. This Platform allows us to perform these tasks remotely from anywhere we have Internet access .

Network Topology

Network Topology is very important when creating our project since this will determine whether it works correctly or not. There are different types of Topologies. Many times we do not know a Network well or this issue is complicated for us, but the new Hik-ProConnect platform makes this easier for us since it makes a diagram of how our Network is connected, with the information of each device and also every time we add new equipment to the Network this Topology is automatically updated and shows us the new information.
