Additional requirements for remote video streaming and DVR placement (remote recording is not possible):
  • A dedicated server (PC) is required to host the Hik-Central software licenses and run the services to view live video remotely. A server with at least a Core i5/8GB RAM is recommended.
  • It is required to have a fixed (dedicated) public IP and the bandwidth will depend on the number of DVRs to be transmitted or viewed.

Licenses required for remote DVR streaming (remote recording is not supported):
  • HIKCENTRALPMS10UNIT/BASE/PROMO : This license adds the base for mobile devices, includes 10 units.
  • HIKCENTRALPMS1UNIT : This license adds 1 additional mobile device, an active base license is required.
