Improvement in sector antennas
TwistPort asymmetrical antennas provide asymmetrical beamshaping and a game-changing TwistPort™ (TP) connector. Asymmetrical TP antennas provide excellent noise rejection, network scalability, and increased throughput. By providing specific beamshaping, increased antenna gain, and excellent noise rejection, asymmetrical TP horn antennas complement the successful symmetrical horn antennas.

Single asymmetric beam
Asymmetrical TP antennas have a unique beam shape. The beam cross-section as seen through the bore is elliptical: wide in azimuth and narrow in the elevation plane. This is useful for deployments where the asymmetric beam shape offers better coverage.
Without side lobes
Asymmetrical TP antennas have naturally compressed sidelobes: they focus energy into a single main beam. The absence of sidelobes allows for excellent noise immunity in asymmetrical TP horn antennas.
Broadband performance
The radiation pattern of the Asymmetric Horn Antennas is stable over the entire frequency range.
Balanced H + V polarizations
Asymmetrical TP horn antennas have balanced horizontal and vertical beam patterns. Balanced H+V beams are very difficult to achieve for an asymmetrical beamforming antenna, and this is where all competitive products on the market fail. Balanced H+V beams are a critical feature for link performance.
Great performance
Asymmetrical TP horn antennas provide higher gain compared to symmetrical TP horn antennas with the same azimuth beamwidth. Asymmetrical TP antennas cover an ultra-wide frequency range: 5180–6000 MHz, with excellent VSWR performance.

Perfect coverage pattern
Mainstream patch sector antennas have an extremely wide radiation pattern in azimuth and extremely flat in the elevation plane. If an AP is deployed on a tall tower, clients near the tower suffer from a low AP signal level. Asymmetrical TP horn antennas provide valuable additional degrees of elevation beamwidth, reducing the null zone while preserving the increased gain for long-range performance.
Co-location without noise
Asymmetrical TP antennas have naturally reduced sidelobes and extremely low back radiation. Asymmetrical TP horn antennas are perfect for high-density sector arrays with demanding co-location requirements.

Innovative scalability: expanded
RF Elements® Horn TP antennas offer extraordinary scalability options. Asymmetrical TP antennas are a new addition to the toolbox. They offer unique beam performance, precise radiation patterns, and further increase the scalability of the thrust system.

TwistPort TM connector
Asymmetrical TP antennas feature our industry-changing TwistPort™ connector, a patent-pending, quick-lock waveguide port. TwistPort™ is virtually lossless: there are no connectors or coaxial cables to attenuate the signal. Connecting radios is ingeniously simple—twist and lock—with one hand!
Cross-platform compatibility
The wide range of TwistPort ™ adapters allows the connection of the most popular third-party connector radios, such as UBNT™, Mimosa™, MikroTik™ or Cambium Networks™, directly to any TwistPort™-enabled antenna.

Built like a tank
Asymmetrical TP antennas have a solid aluminum body, built to last and withstand any weather conditions. We use the finest materials: cast, stamped, and extruded aluminum; stainless steel; high-quality ABS plastic; and high-density polyethylene.

Innovative support
Asymmetrical TP antennas feature an innovative mounting system. The bracket is separate from the antenna, making installation and adjustment quick and easy.
Step 1: Installing the bracket
First, install the bracket on the pole. The pole bracket is reversible: it can be mounted on the left or right side of the antenna.
Step 2: Adjusting the Antenna
Simply slide the antenna onto the mount and adjust the elevation and azimuth. Tighten the screws to complete the installation.
Only one tool is needed for the entire installation.
