The NX0392 button module is one of the peripherals of the Ibernex patient-nurse call system. The three buttons on the module are illuminated when configured and can trigger calls for help, urgent help, and medical alarms.
Another of its main functions is to register the presence of staff in the rooms by pressing the corresponding button or by swiping a 125 KHz RFID identification card.
Note: Certification is required for installation and to request technical support.
Example of use
The connection is made with 2 pairs of UTP cable to any of the room terminals NX0019/B, NX0015 or NX1021.
Normal alarm
Fixed Red Light
Indicates that there is a normal alarm in the room that needs to be addressed. In standby mode, the light is dimmed so the button can be quickly located in the dark.
Presence of nurse
Steady Green Light
It indicates that there is a nurse in the room. This can be indicated by pressing the green button or presenting an RFID card. The advantage of the card is that it records which nurse responded to the alarm.
Call to doctor
Solid Green light, Flashing Red and Blue lights
A doctor's call, or 'code blue,' can only be generated when a nurse is present in the room.
Presence of a doctor
Fixed Green and Blue Lights
Indicates that there is a doctor in the room. This can be indicated by pressing the blue button or presenting an RFID card. The advantage of the card is that it records which doctor responded to the alarm.
Installing the module
The module includes a frame for direct mounting to a 2x2 inch square box (not included) and the NX9003 trim frame (not included) is attached.
