This unique, patented cover has helped prevent false fire alarms worldwide for over 30 years, without restricting legitimate alarms. Ideal for schools, hospitals, nursing homes, shops, hotels, and public buildings of almost all types.
STI-1230 is a tamper-evident, rugged polycarbonate outer cover, bearing the legend "IN CASE OF FIRE," that fits over most manual stations. The cover is connected to the frame by a cable. Lifting the cover, which hangs from the frame, provides access to the alarm activation system.

Characteristics:

• The cover is UV stabilized.
• Three-year warranty against polycarbonate breakage during normal use (one year on electromechanical and electronic components).
• STI-1230 is for surface mounting for pull stations or emergency buttons.
• The Stopper II design is a registered trademark of Security Technology International, Inc.
• UL for US and Canadian safety regulations (for standard and custom labeling).
• Approved FM.
• Typical working properties of polycarbonate are -40° to 250°F (-40° to 121°C).

Note: The end user must check the alarm function and battery every six months and replace it annually or as needed.
