1000Base-T to 1000BASE-X SFP Media Converter

Providing the flexibility of 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet media through RJ45 port and highly stable Gigabit fiber performance, PLANET GT-805A supports conversion between 10/100/1000BASE-T and 1000BASE-X networks. There are SFP/WDM connectors with single-mode or multi-mode media as needed. Ethernet signal enables different types of segments to be connected easily, efficiently and cost effectively.

Distance extension with stable, high-performance network communications.

The PLANET GT-805A media converter extends communication distances with Gigabit performance over fiber optic cables. The GT-80x series provides media conversion between 10/100/1000BASE-T and 1000BASE-SX/LX interfaces for a variety of fiber optic applications. Available fiber interfaces are shown below:

Enhanced smart management features

• LLCF means that when a device connected to the converter and the TP line loses the link, the converter fiber will disconnect the transmission link.
• LLR (Link Loss Return) means that when a device connected to the converter and the fiber line loses the link, the converter fiber will disconnect the transmission link.
• Both can immediately alert administrators to media link issues and provide an efficient solution for network monitoring.
