High-strength silver-coated cable gland hinge to prevent sabotage

The revolutionary Electric Hinge 9520 is the first of its kind to offer multiple advantages to the installer/user. It features 6 wires that can power up to 24Vdc/Vac at 3A from the power supply to the device installed on the door. The 6 wires are silver coated allowing high conductivity and are Teflon insulated. Two of the wires are 20AWG and can be used to power electric locking devices such as the Electric Lock 31190526D . The other four wires are 30AWG and can be used for control devices or switches such as magnetic contacts or relay outputs.

Recommended for applications on metal or wood doors in schools, hospitals, public, private, and government buildings where high foot traffic is expected.

Not only is it rugged and capable of handling up to 3 amps, but it has also been tested to over 800,000 open/close cycles before a wire breaks or grounds, which is 8 times more than the UL specification. It also successfully passed (placed first) the burn-in tests required by UL for use on fire system doors and frames.
