Batteries with AGM/VRLA Technology
SYSCOM has announced its battery recommendations for electronic equipment, especially backup batteries, moving from being considered an unimportant accessory to becoming a leading player in 100% availability in electronic security systems.
Users should demand the highest quality from their batteries, since during normal operation, they will be exposed to the local physical environment (mainly temperature and humidity) and, on the other hand, may be immersed in an unfriendly environment. These are some of the reasons why batteries must be operationally reliable, and their maintenance requirements must be minimal and simple.
SYSCOM strongly recommends the use of EPCOM POWER LINE brand AGM/VRLA batteries with a wide variety of them, from 1.2 Ah to 110 Ah in 12 Vdc.

Battery protection
Between the charge controller/battery charger we recommend installing a thermo-magnetic protection with an LA302DC atmospheric discharge suppressor, which protects the battery from a short circuit or an induction of some atmospheric discharge.
