The Model BIRD4522 Type 43 is a standard 19-inch (3RU) rack-mount insertion-type RF Wattmeter, designed to measure RF power and load coupling on coaxial transmission lines at 50 ohm impedance.
Designed for use with CW, AM, FM and TV modulation, but not pulse modulation.
In 50 ohm applications, it has a maximum VSWR of 1.05 at frequencies up to 1000 MHz. The meter provides direct readings in Watts with an extended scale for ease of reading and is graduated in 25, 50 and 100 full scale.
The elements are available in a variety of power and frequency ranges.

• Power: 100 mW to 10 kW using Bird assembly elements.
• Frequency: 450 kHz to 2.7 GHz (depending on the element used).
• Accuracy: ± 5% of full scale.
