Logic Smart Vehicle Charger for two-way radio batteries.

The Logic smart vehicle charger is an innovative, ultra-durable product designed for public safety, emergency services, construction, and utility vehicles.
It provides a number of advanced charging features, yet is easy to install and use.

Key features include:

  • Logic's smart vehicle charger maximizes battery life between changes and overall battery life.
  • High impact and vibration tolerance of contacts for greater reliability.
  • Compact, low-profile design allows placement in vehicles where space is limited.
  • Charge a battery while in the radio or separately.
  • Tie-down strap securely holds a radio or battery, easy to attach and easy to detach.
  • The charging electronics and radio mount are integrated into a single unit to simplify permanent installation or plug-and-play use.
  • Logic vehicle chargers are available for Kenwood, EF Johnson, Icom, Motorola, Tait, Hytera, and other two-way radios.
  • Three-year warranty.
The Logic Vehicle Charger’s smart charging provides significant benefits through a technology called Battery Acceptance of Charge™, or BAC™. BAC uses an advanced pulse charging method to determine the maximum amount of energy a battery can accept. During the charging process, there are short rest periods between pulses, which allow the chemical actions in the battery to stabilize. After stabilization, the open circuit voltage (OCV) is sampled and this information is used to determine the maximum charging current. The rest periods also minimize gassing and charge-related temperature increases, allowing batteries to stay cooler during charging.
