The MTB family of SFP+ Gigabit Ethernet modules can be installed on PLANET Switches with 10GBASE-SR/LR SFP+ interfaces.
The range distance can be extended up to
300 meters (Multi-Mode, LC). SFP+ transceivers are hot-pluggable and hot-swappable.
You can plug and unplug transceivers to/from any SFP+ port without having to power down the switch.
