The new AC standard is here, with up to 866 Mbps over-the-air data rates, 256-QAM modulation, and 80 MHz channels. 802.11a/n/ac opens up new possibilities and speeds never before possible.
The SXT ac is a new addition to our 802.11ac product line. Two models are currently available: a standard 28-degree antenna, and the SA model with a 90-degree beamwidth sector antenna. It also supports the 802.11a/n standard, the Nstreme and Nv2 protocols, and is backward compatible with all RouterBOARD devices. Both devices feature Gigabit Ethernet.
New products are backward compatible; for example, you can replace your legacy 5GHz 802.11a/n access point with a new 802.11ac product and your existing clients will still be able to connect to it.
