"Carrier Class" Performance

Carrier-class symmetrical horn antennas feature a symmetrical beam radiation pattern without sidelobes. Symmetrical horns are perfectly suited for use as sector antennas. They offer a unique combination of features that address the main weaknesses of sector (panel) antenna technology.

Make it unique

Symmetrical horn antennas have a very unique shape and beam characteristics. The beam section is circular: the azimuth and elevation radiation angles are identical. The beam pattern does not vary with frequency, and the antenna gain is balanced over a wide frequency range. These characteristics make them excellent sector antennas.

Without side lobes

Symmetrical Carrier-Class antennas have no side lobes; they focus energy only on one beam of the main lobe. This radiation characteristic saves the most important resource in wireless technology: spectrum.
The unique radiation properties ensure that the radio will collect and propagate significantly less noise compared to mainstream sector antennas. Most of the noise problem is directly related to the antenna's sidelobes, especially when operating in free bands. Sidelobes allow the radios to propagate and receive the signal (noise, interference) from unwanted directions with surprisingly high gain.
Symmetrical Carrier Class antennas are essentially "deaf" outside their main beam, so they offer significantly better performance in noisy environments.

Broadband performance

Carrier Class symmetrical antennas operate over a wide frequency range: 5180-6100 MHz.

Coverage Without Null Points

Sector (panel) antennas have a radiation pattern that is very broad in azimuth but very flat in elevation. If an AP is too high, clients that are too close will suffer from a weak AP signal.
Symmetrical Carrier Class antennas radiate a symmetrical circular beam pattern very similar to a simple flashlight. Due to their unique radiation pattern, symmetrical horns can cover nearby areas much more easily than conventional sector antennas.

N-type connectors

Carrier Class symmetrical antennas have N-type female connectors, allowing connection with a wide range of radios such as mimosa ™ , Cambium Networks ™ PMP450 and many others. Users of UBNT ™ Rocket M5 Titanium, MikroTik ™ pluggable radios (NetBox ™ , BaseBox ™ and NetMetal ™ ) can also use Linked Pro jumpers on Carrier Class symmetrical antennas.

Carrier Class symmetrical antennas come with precise radiation angles, ranging from 30-90°: a wide range of models suitable for any requirement.

Built to last

Carrier Class symmetrical frames are solid metal bodies designed to last and withstand any weather conditions. We use only the finest materials: cast, stamped, and extruded aluminum; zinc alloy, high-quality ABS plastic; and stainless steel hardware.

Compact

Carrier-class symmetrical antennas are very compact, occupying only 20–25% of the footprint of traditional sector (panel) antennas. This compact size saves tower rental fees and makes it possible to install symmetrical sector antennas in locations where regular sectors would not be permitted due to their shape and size.

Easy installation

Carrier Class symmetrical sector antennas come pre-assembled from the factory and ready for immediate deployment. Installation is very easy and requires only one tool.
