The Double-Sided Audible Emergency Exit Announcer is a highly effective way to alert you to any unauthorized entry or exit through any emergency exit door. In doing so, it can serve as an economical security device and also help prevent burglaries.

If the protected door is opened, the Double-Sided Audible Exit Annunciator sounds a high-pitched alarm for 30 seconds, three minutes, or continuously (as set by the user). A key-operated override mechanism silences the alarm and allows authorized exits. The Double-Sided Audible Exit Annunciator comes equipped with a long-life alkaline battery.

Characteristics:
  • After installation, the user can select to use it as an alarm or annunciator.
  • It can be mounted above, to the right, to the left or near almost any door.
  • Detects both unauthorized entries and exits.
  • The 104 dB warning alarm or a softer 103 dB warning alarm can be selected.
  • In exit alarm mode, it can be set to sound for 30 seconds, 3 minutes, or indefinitely (unless disarmed with the provided key).
  • The STI-6402 provides protection for double door applications.
  • Easy to install and practical for all emergency doors.
  • Available in red or green.
  • Exit delay allows the unit to arm after authorized exits.
  • A highly visible “stop sign” design acts as a deterrent in itself.
