The MFB family consists of Small Form Factor (SFP) transceiver modules specifically designed for high-performance, integrated duplex data links over single-mode optical fiber. These transceiver modules are compatible with the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and are hot-pluggable. These modules offer an easy way to install SFP MSA-compliant ports at any time without disrupting host equipment operation.

SFP MFB transceivers using a long wavelength FP LD (1310) allow data transmission up to 2 km on a multimode optical fiber and up to 60 km on a single mode optical fiber.

To meet the growing demand for industrial Ethernet fiber solutions, Planeta has launched the 100Base-FX MFB-T transceiver series, which can operate reliably in the electrically harsh, climatically demanding, and wide temperature range (-40℃ to 75℃). The 100Base-FX MFB-T transceiver series provides easy and fast 100Base-FX connection for Planeta's high-temperature industrial equipment.
