DAT CONTROLER® PLUS is a lightning rod with a priming device (PDC) that bases its operation on the electrical characteristics of lightning formation, emitting the continuous upward tracer before any other object within its protection radius, a characteristic normatively known as priming advance time (ΔT). The greater the anticipation of the upward tracer formation, the greater the distance at which it captures the downward tracer, protecting against lightning over a larger area (standards limit ΔT to ≤60 μs).

The AT-REMOTE TESTER continuously checks the condition of the head and emits a signal with the result. This verification must be carried out by authorized technical personnel using a specific analysis device .
